How The Makers Hub Can Help
2026 Giving Tuesday Campaign
Help The Makers Hub Make an Impact This Giving Tuesday
The People’s Chamber is proud to support Chamber member The Makers Hub and its 2026 Giving Tuesday campaign.
The Makers Hub is creating greater access to tools, equipment, hands on education and practical skills for people in South Los Angeles. From borrowing tools to learning how to make and repair things, the organization is helping community members save money, develop valuable skills, complete projects and explore opportunities to generate income.
And the impact is growing.
As of July 31, 2026, The Makers Hub had grown to 1,167 members and loaned 4,207 tools. The organization has also expanded operations from three days a week to six days a week, while continuing classes, workshops and monthly repair clinics.
Here’s How You Can Get Involved
Giving Tuesday is about more than making a donation. You can donate, share the campaign with your network, encourage your company to support The Makers Hub, or help spread the word throughout the community.
Every contribution and every share helps The Makers Hub put more tools, resources and opportunities into the hands of people who can use them.
