The People's Chamber of Commerce was created to put people back at the center of progress. Strong communities and strong businesses both begin with empowered individuals.

Our Mission

Put people first by expanding opportunities and creating meaningful connections.

Our mission is to remove traditional financial barriers that keep everyday people and small business owners from participating in professional networks. The People's Chamber of Commerce, also known as TPCOC, is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit business, economic and civic leadership organization. Small businesses, entrepreneurs, workers and communities deserve the same voice, resources and opportunity that large corporations have had for decades.

Sharifah Hardie founded The People’s Chamber of Commerce after decades of experience in business, media, politics and public leadership. She created the Chamber to build a platform where people have access, voice and opportunity. Her vision is simple. When people support one another, communities grow stronger.

LyNea Bell is a media executive, producer and talent and literary agent known for developing platforms, talent and content that expand diverse voices in entertainment. She leads BH Talent and Literary Agency, GOT ONE TV Network and GOT CONNECTIONS Foundation.
