Member Standards
Code of Conduct
At The People's Chamber of Commerce, relationships are built on trust, respect, professionalism and integrity. Everyone participating in Chamber events, programs, online communities and membership activities agrees to uphold these standards.
Treat Everyone with Respect
Healthy discussions and differing opinions are welcome. Personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation and abusive behavior are not.
Conduct Business with Integrity
Members must conduct business honestly and ethically, represent themselves and their services truthfully, and honor commitments whenever possible.
Build Relationships Before Transactions
Networking is encouraged. Aggressive sales tactics, excessive self promotion, spam and behavior that pressures members are discouraged.
Support One Another
Celebrate success, share opportunities, make introductions and encourage collaboration.
Respect Diverse Perspectives
Treat every person with kindness and professionalism across industries, cultures, experiences and backgrounds.
Protect Confidential Information
Do not share confidential business information, personal information or private conversations without permission.
Represent the Chamber Professionally
Members are ambassadors for The People's Chamber of Commerce and must represent themselves and the Chamber professionally online and in person.
Reporting and Violations
Report concerns to Chamber leadership. The Chamber may suspend or terminate membership or event participation for conduct inconsistent with its mission, values or this Code of Conduct.
Relationships Matter. Trust Matters. People Matter.
